Do you hear that band of Angels??

Julie Marie Dickmeyer Zerhusen joined a whole new band this morning at 4:12 am. Julie passed quietly and peacefully. Julie’s friend Jen was sitting on the couch knitting while Julie slept. I had just gone to sleep when Jen alerted us that Julie’s breathing had changed. Julie simply took 2 quick breaths and stopped breathing. I offer thanks to God for blessing us with the answer to many months of prayers. I have prayed many times that Julie would simply go to sleep one night and not wake up. Thank you my angel for leaving us with your usual grace.

Julie’s services will be at Stith Funeral Home, Hwy 42, Florence Ky 41042.

Visitation Friday 10-30-09 4pm – 7 pm

Services Friday 10-30-09 7pm – 8 pm

Burial and Graveside Services Saturday 10-31-09 10 a.m. Richwood Cemetery

A few requests from Julie: Please do not wear black. Bright colors preferred!

If you are attending the graveside service please sport your band or drum corp or winter guard shirts or jackets. Julie will be sporting her Bob and Bee’s shirt so if you still have your shirt from the famous Bob and Bee’s cruise that would be appropriate attire. If you were ever in color guard then please bring your flag to either service as it seems that flags should be flying everywhere for Julie this week.

Update on Julie

For those of you following her story Julie is not doing too well. Joy has asked that anyone who can get out to visit as soon as possible as things just don't look good.
Please keep Julie and her family in your thoughts and prayers.

Additionally please know that Julie's accounts were emptied since she was placed on Medicare. Thus we are now trying to raise some money to help Julie's family cover the costs of final expenses. Please consider donating generously.
